I built DzynHub because I needed it myself.

I'm Joseph Deleon, a designer based in Seattle, WA. I've been designing since I was a kid — drawing eventually turned into a 20+ year career as a graphic designer, working on everything from my own fashion line to packaging and marketing for brands like Sriracha and Starbucks.

Design took me into tech from there. I became a product design consultant, building websites and software for startups, and eventually landed at Meta. When Meta's layoffs hit, I went back to consulting — this time full-time.

For years, I was the person other people called to fix broken workflows — while quietly wishing I had a software company of my own to run. I didn't know what to build yet. Then I started noticing my own problem.

Client work was going well, except when it wasn't: important proposals and feedback buried in email clutter, deadlines missed because I was juggling dates across too many tools, client trust shaken because I missed an update that got lost in a text thread instead of somewhere I'd actually see it. And underneath all of it, I was quietly paying for five different platforms to do what should've been one job.

That frustration is what became DzynHub. Now I know exactly when a proposal was accepted and when. I see client feedback and messages in one place, not scattered across inboxes. I know what's actually due and when. My clients have one clear place to talk to me. Trust and confidence — mine and theirs — got better because the tool finally matched how the work actually happens.

I've spent my career working alongside researchers, content strategists, and engineers to build software for other people. This time, I built it myself — with the help of AI tools.

I'm not a traditional engineer. But I've spent 20 years understanding how design and product work fit together, and when large language models started becoming genuinely useful — something I saw early on while at Meta — I realized that experience could finally translate directly into building something real, without needing a team to do it. My goal was simple: build something that actually works, at least for me. If it helps other designers too, even better.

I still take on client design work today — it's what I love, and it's part of why I understand this problem so well. DzynHub is what keeps that work organized and keeps me confident I'm not dropping anything that matters.
